Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Computer literate
- Nurse registered with South African Nursing Council
- Four years industry experience in Occupational Health
- Experience as a First Instructor
- Experience in Audiometry and Spirometry
- A Valid code 08 Driver’s licence.
Primary Duties
- Conduct first aid box surveys and inspect first aid boxes monthly.
- Treatment of injuries / wounds
- Act Promptly during emergency situations
- Diagnose treat and administer medications accordingly.
- Assist with incident investigation.
- Health awareness in green areas
Knowledge
- Computer literate
- Basic Wound Care
- Knowledge of OHS Act
- Treatment of Injuries
- Act Promptly during emergency situations
- Diagnose and treat accordingly.
- Provide guidance on health issues.
- Conduct awareness
Skills
- Ability to communicate well (both Verbal and in writing)
- Administration skills
- Good record keeping
- Provide guidance on health issues.
- Counselling
- Provide advise and guidance on daily screening
