0 Sheikh Mansour, the owner of Manchester City, has imposed two ‘conditions’ on Cristiano Ronaldo’s move.

Manchester City and Cristiano Ronaldo are said to have reached an agreement.

According to rumours, Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour will only approve Cristiano Ronaldo’s mega-transfer if two criteria are met. Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed personal terms with Premier League champions Manchester City, according to reports.

The 36-year-old is in the final year of his contract with the Italian club and is considering leaving.

Juventus wants to sell Ronaldo, but they’ll want to return at least some of the £88 million they spent Real Madrid last year.

Ronaldo’s possible transfer to City would be one of the most significant in history, not least because the Portugal legend is a Manchester United legend.

Owner Sheikh Mansour, on the other hand, is only willing to sanction the transfer provided two criteria are met.

According to the Italian weekly Corrierre dello Sport, the first criteria is that the transfer be free of charge. According to Sky Sports, Juventus wants £25 million for Ronaldo, but his agent, Jorge Mendes, is attempting to lower that sum.

Mansour also wants to sell a player to assist the club’s pay bill.

Raheem Sterling, a winger, has been linked with a move away from the club. The 27-year-old had a terrible 2020-21 season with his team and referred to his problems while representing England at Euro 2020.

Sterling told the BBC after scoring in England’s 1-0 victory against Croatia, “Honestly, there’s a lot of different reasons why I haven’t scored for my club [Manchester City], but that’s entirely immaterial now.”

“I’m here with England, and I’m having fun with my football, which is the most important thing – I’m just glad to score.”

Another player who could depart City is Bernardo Silva.

Rumours have surfaced linking Ronaldo’s Portugal teammate with a return to Benfica, from whom he moved to the Etihad Stadium in 2017.

One of the players offered to Tottenham in a part-exchange deal for Harry Kane was Silva. The Athletic, however, reported that the midfielder was not interested in joining the North Londoners.

It’s uncertain whether Mansour will budge on his demands or if the agreement will break apart.

Ronaldo has previously ruled out a move to City, insisting that no amount of money would persuade him to do so. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
